MISMANAGEMENT CONDUCTS IN THE NIGERIAN UNIVERSITY HOSTELS

These are some of the alarming issues in the Nigerian university grounds that are taken for granted...

1. Poor cleaning service :

This is a severe health threatening conduct that has eaten through most of universities today ,

Most students after a long day stress , coming back to the comfort of their hostel to get refreshed would find it displeasing , in cases like this most students use their financial resources to get satisfaction from an external source or while most students that have no where else to go try to manage the poorly uncleaned facilities at expense to their health ,

   This conduct alone makes some students hustling for their future mentally depressed, thereby yielding poor academic results which is bad for a developing nation like Nigeria.

2. Overcrowding :

This is an unmanaged conduct that affects students in terms of comfortability and piece of mind, there are cases whereby 5-10 students stay in a small  hostel room which was originally designed to accommodate  2-3 persons thereby making these spaces uncomfortable to students dwelling there,       That alone gives an insight to the level of poor management's in this hostels,

this also affects students that find it  challenging trekking to the library to read at the comfort of their hostels , as usual the same school management would complain about the grades of this students without fulfilling their own responsibilities.

3. Poor electricity and water facilities : 

Currently in Nigeria with the level of growth in modern education water and electricity are needed in day to day activities which is poorly facilitated in most universities,

Thereby making education a thing of hardship instead of learning and facilitated mental growth.

These are some of  the greatly practiced misconducts that needs to be fixed urgently in the country Nigeria.
